Southern European Print Congress 2019
This year’s Southern European Congress Print Congress was held in Madrid, Spain
The Spanish Association hosted the event along with FESPA’s Associations from France, Italy and Portugal. The two-day conference was a great opportunity for the 70+ attendees to hear from print experts on mixed educational sessions as well as to network with likeminded individuals
The Congress featured over 10 speakers including Emma Tuddenham, FESPA’s Associations Manager, who spoke about the current trends in the print industry. The trends presented were taken from the latest FESPA Print Census survey, the biggest print survey worldwide. The presentation focused on the main challenges for the sector worldwide as well as cut of a data from Spain and future trends.
Graeme Richardson-Locke, FESPA’s Technical Support Manager presented about how to add value to customers by improving colour management. He reiterated the importance of the selection of the work monitor and its calibration, the simplification of the work process with appropriate software and the value of colour comparing it with standard values.
