FESPA Limited (FESPA) is a global federation of national Associations for the screen printing, digital printing and textile printing community. FESPA’s successful worldwide events generate profits which are reinvested for the benefit of the global print community.
This Privacy Statement applies to each FESPA website, event, app and other service and explains the types of personal data we collect, how we use that information, who we share it with, how we protect that information and your rights in relation to your personal data.

FESPA, as a data controller, is committed to protecting your personal information. Our principal place of business is at FESPA Limited, Holmbury. Information we collect
When you visit and browse our websites directly or via email hyperlinks (including when you complete an enquiry or web sign up form) or when you speak to us by telephone or email, you may give us personal information about yourself. We also collect information about the transactions you undertake through this site (See 'Payments' below). We collect information to process registrations to events managed by us. We collect additional information about your visit to our website using cookies (See 'Use of Cookies' below).
The information you give us will may include the following:
your name, postal address, sex, age band, email address, IP address, phone number, mobile number, dietary requirements and information about your role and company profile such as job title, job function and seniority, company name.
We also collect information on your profile such as your areas of interest at our events, company size, your industry, your reasons for attending our event, your plans to purchase equipment or services from our event and what budget you may have, interests in other FESPA products and services such as Gala Dinners, Awards programmes, our newsletter and other specialist features at our events. Profile information helps us provide you with relevant communications and services.

Videography and Photography
We use personal data captured during video footage at our exhibitions and events to promote its products and services as follows:
- On FESPA TV, a YouTube channel
- On event websites, to deliver highlights of our activities to our wider community
- Circulated to Press and other media organisations for publication, transmission or broadcast
By taking part in the interview, you agree to how FESPA Limited will use your personal data. In this instance personal data means your imagery on film which also includes your interview which will be attributed to you - name, job title, company name.
Signage will also indicate that general filming and photography will be taking place at our events. We do not obtain consent for this. However, if an individual or organisation asks us to not to include them in the shot, due to a concern about privacy, we should normally do so, unless it is editorially justified to continue.

Use of cookies
We use cookies to gather information about your visit to our website and to keep track of your preferences and browsing patterns, building up a demographic profile. This helps us to improve our websites including features, content and functionality. Most browsers will allow you to turn off cookies. FESPA Associations
FESPA is a global federation of national associations for the screen printing, digital printing and textile printing community. FESPA Associations operate on a membership basis and provide their members with

- access to training resources
- discounted access to local and regional events.
From time to time we would like to be able to pass your information to your local FESPA Association. We will only do this when you opt in to receive communications from your local Association through
- our registration forms
- the FESPA Print Census.

Third-party services
FESPA uses third party services to help maintain the security and performance of FESPA websites. To deliver this service, it processes the IP addresses of visitors to FESPA websites. We do not store credit card details.
We also use third party services and systems to provide some functions on our own websites, and other marketing functions. These include social media platforms, web analytics services, event apps, event registration services, media auditing services and exhibition catalogue publishers. When using their systems, their standard privacy terms apply.
We do not share personal data with any other third parties for any other purpose except as required to do so by government bodies and law enforcement agencies. In the future, we may share your personal data with partners and sponsors and we will always ask for your consent to do so. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting data@fespa.com.
Other websites
Our website may contain links to other websites that are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Statement. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you that will be used by them in accordance with their privacy statement, which may differ from ours.
Payments
We do not store credit card details on our servers and all transactions are processed through a gateway provider (WorldPay, PayPal, Shopify).
FESPA cannot be held responsible for any external events outside of our control which may prevent you from attending a FESPA Exhibition. Paid-for registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. For information on how to receive a refund for any items sold through a FESPA online shop, please refer to the relevant website where you can find Terms and Conditions relating to your purchase.

Subject access requests
You have the right to see what personal data we hold about you. We aim to provide you with all a file of all the information we hold on you within 30 days. We may not be able to provide you with information we hold about you if it would unreasonably affect the privacy of another individual or if by giving you access it poses a serious threat to another individual). To obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you, please email data@fespa.com or write to us at our principal place of business.
Updating or correcting your personal data
When you receive a marketing email from FESPA, you can update your personal details and contact preferences using forms at the footer of the message and following the instructions. This is specific to FESPA events, communication channels such as email, phone and mail, and other products and services such as our newsletter. These changes are made directly into our systems. In most cases, these updates are immediate. On some occasions, this may take a little longer, so we aim to process all changes within 30 days of notification.
Outside of these emails, if at any point you would like us to stop processing your data for direct marketing purposes, please contact data@fespa.com or write to us at our principal place of business. We will remove you from all future direct marketing communications and add you to suppression lists to ensure that your personal data is not used for this purpose.
Data retention
We may retain the personal data you provide us for as long as is needed to provide your products and services as listed in this policy. Once the retention period has expired, according to our retention schedule, it will be deleted from the server using appropriate deletion routines to ensure that the information cannot be recovered.
Data may persist in copies made for back up and business continuity purposes for additional times, including information required for regulatory and legal compliance.
Transferring your personal data
Given that the Internet is a global environment, using it to collect and process personal data necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international basis. This means for instance that data you pass to us may be processed outside the European Economic Area, although the data will always be held securely and in line with the requirements of UK data protection legislation (including GDPR). By communicating electronically with us, you acknowledge and agree to our processing of personal data in this way.
