PSSiDC - Third edition of #PrintOnWebinAir

On March 18, 2021, the third edition of #PrintOnWebinAir was held, organized by the Polish Association of Screen Printing and Digital Printing. The series of webinars has gained huge interest, which means that the organizers respond to the needs of the market.

For several decades, the association has been dealing with the sharing experiences, the organization of training courses and specialist seminars. The main task of PSSiDC is a widely understood cooperation and mutual assistance within the activities of its members, which is why in the new reality the Association tries to unite the printing industry even more by supporting its development. Thus, since autumn 2020, regular meetings are organized in order to share knowledge and support companies operating in the printing industry.
 
Jacek Stencel, the President of the Association welcomed the participants of the March event and added: “We try to make each edition unique and bring a lot of valuable information for people from the industry. We discuss, among others about the directions and trends of development that will prevail on the markets, about the feelings that have been with all of us recently and about what awaits us in the future".
Joanna Zjawin, the Director of the Association, added: “Indeed, each edition is exceptional. Its uniqueness lies not only in its on-line form, forced by a pandemic, but also in the participation of Speakers who want to share their knowledge and post-pandemic experiences".

The third edition, also like the second #PrintOnWebinAir, was divided into two blocks. The first one featured four speakers, while the second part featured a discussion with the organizers of trade fairs.  

Łukasz Bilski was among the Speakers, President of the Management Board of Business Horizon, Vice-President of the Management Board of Fundacja Centrum Europa Lokalnej, a member of the Council of the Technology Incubator in Skarżysko-Kamienna, who recently implemented two financing projects for innovation in companies from the screen printing and digital printing industry. The speaker introduced the participants to the practical aspects of commissioning innovations in the economy.
Dariusz Suchocki, who has been designing textile decorations for over 20 years, and in particular specializes in making advanced color tonal separations based on Pantone and CMYK colors for the needs of direct screen printing, told what the specificity of raster printing on textiles actually is.  
Only a carefully thought-out, meticulously designed and systematically optimized process effectively supports the execution of the organization's business goals.
Therefore, the Organizer invited Jerzy Osika - a sales expert, who gave valuable tips on how to improve the quality of the sales process in the printing industry in order to gain and keep customers in the new reality.
            Very popular was the speech of Rafał Osiekowicz from Canon Polska - a specialist in large-format solutions, who has been working in the digital printing industry for over 18 years. The speaker shared with the Participants, among others, an inspiring concept of an automated Wallpaper Factory that uses UVgel printing technology.
 
Talks about the future of the fair.
 
The organizers of the trade fair took part in the second part of the webinar. Among the invited guests were Sebastian Ząbek - Manager of GJC International,
 
Konrad Fleśman - Director of the Product Group at the Poznań International Fair and Katarzyna Matera - Marketing Manager of the Project Group from Ptak Warsaw Expo. Due to the introduced restrictions, major industry meetings can be held not earlier than in autumn or at the beginning of next year. However, the willingness to organize events was confirmed by all representatives who are optimistic about properly secured industry events, which have been and will be the most effective and fastest engine of economic recovery.
 
The third edition of #PrintOnWebinAir, just like the previous ones, met with great approval of the Participants who shared their positive opinion in the survey and in numerous talks. The organizer confirms that he is preparing another interesting project for the printing market.
