EFI extends Jetrion sales network with LPP

EFI has moved to strengthen its sales network in the UK and Ireland by entering into a partnership with LPP Ltd.

Under the agreement, LPP will serve as an agent for EFI Jetrion digital label and narrow web inkjet printers across the UK and Irish markets.

LPP has been supplying printing products to the industry for over 50 years and EFI Jetrion will now join Flexor, Flexomaid, Rotary Technologies, Teknek, Nikka, CPS, DMS on the list of companies that LPP represents.

Ian Bates, managing director of LPP, said the company has been hoping to link up with a leading manufacturer in the digital print sector for some time now and the opportunity to sell the Jetrion products will help end users capitalise on ever-changing market dynamics.

“Our knowledge, experience and customer base complements the capabilities the Jetrion range offers this fast growing market,” Bates.

Martin Mayo, sales director for EFI in the UK and Ireland, also spoke positively about the deal, saying that the partnership is a reflection of the manufacturer’s commitment to enhancing services for customers in the UK and Ireland.

Mayo added: “From my first meeting with Ian and LPP chairman Les Bradley, their credibility in the label and packaging market shone through. I simply needed to have the best on board. For LPP, adding the Jetrion printers to their portfolio meets real needs in the digital market.”

Confirmation of the new deal comes ahead of EFI’s appearance at FESPA 2017, which will run from May 8-12 in the German city of Hamburg. EFI will have a major presence at the exhibition and will be based on Stand E30 in Hall B7.

Visitors to next month’s event will have the opportunity to view technology such as the EFI VUTEk FabriUV 340, a fabric printer that can print at speeds of up to 500sq m/hr on materials as wide as 340cm. The machine is also able to produce prints in a quality of up to 2,400dpi, while users will benefit from water-based CMYK dispersed dye inks.

Also on show at the EFI booth at FESPA 2017 will be the EFI VUTEk 3r and 5f roll-to-roll printers that measure in at 3m and 5m, respectively.

The VUTEk 3r can reach speeds of 345sq m/hr and print at a true resolution of up to 1,200dpi, while the VUTEk 5r model can run as fast as 455sq m/hr, also at a resolution of 1,200dpi.
