I absolutely love screen-printing. As I have come into this wonderful industry in the past year, I have started to see things differently. Items of clothing, posters and many of the things I purchase to have used this technology to optimise the message of the product or the product overall.
Band and movie posters, a however, is something that didn't really cross my mind until Sunday of the previous week when I saw my favourite band, Alexisonfire, on their farewell tour.This was the point that I noticed the incredible screen print poster of a limited edition, which fans were able to purchase as memorabilia.
I for one, bought a copy, and was blown away by the artwork, and detail of the print. Gabz's Drive posters are currently being funded through Kickstarter and can bepurchased for $60 or $120, depending on whether you want both or just the one. Both posters measure 24" x 36" and are numbered.
52. Go Media Detective Lee Movie Poster
Chris Parks (AKA Pale Horse) from Go Media had created this incredible Screen print poster with The Indomina Group, a global entertainment company who produce and distribute movies, television, music and interactive games. This latest project was a Hong Kong, wire-fu, murder mystery release called “Detective Dee & the Mystery of the Phantom Flame”. Indomina contacted Go Media to "create a limited edition poster design to promote the release of the film here in the U.S."
