FESPA Africa 2018 and Sign Africa announces educational features

FESPA Africa 2018 returns for the fourth year at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg from the 12th – 14th September 2018. Visitors will be able to attend one of the free educational and inspirational features.

FESPA Africa 2018 returns for the fourth year at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg from the 12th – 14th September. Co-located with Sign Africa, Africa Print and Africa LED the exhibition delivers world-class exhibitors and distributors where you can connect with over 6000 industry professionals. Visitors will be able to attend one of the free educational and inspirational features.

Speed Wrap Challenge

The Speed Wrap Challenge is a national and live vehicle wrapping competition. The competition is sponsored by platinum sponsor Roland, vinyl sponsors Grafiwrap (distributed by Maizey Plastics) and exhibition sponsors FESPA Africa and Sign Africa. The Speed Wrap Challenge will occur across all 3 days of the exhibition.

Textile Print Experience 

The Textile Print Experience offers a hands-on workshop where printers can learn various techniques taught by Charlie Taublieb who has been in the screen printing industry for over 40 years. Charlie manages Taublieb Consulting in Greenwood Village, Colorado which specialises in technical screen printing consulting for textile printers.

T-Shirt and Bag Printing Workshops 

The t-shirt and bag printing workshops include free demonstrations by local experts on t-shirts and bags using speciality printing techniques, direct-to-transfer and screen printing. The workshops will take place in Hall 1 during the 3 day exhibition where you can get useful tips and tricks. There will also be an opportunity to direct questions to the local experts about techniques and processes. This will be beneficial as it will assist in streamlining processes, save time and money as well as increasing profits.

Business Opportunities Programme

Various business opportunities will be showcased on exhibitor stands at the FESPA Africa 2018, Sign Africa, Africa Print and Africa LED exhibitions. Opportunities for start-ups or businesses who are looking to grow will be showcased in daily 30-minute sessions every hour. A wide range of topics related to signage, vehicle wrapping, wide-format and digital printing will be covered.
