Kohlschein sets for double launch at FESPA 2017

Kohlschein plans to present its new Kroma Outdoor double-sided white display board next month at FESPA 2017, from 8-12 May at the Hamburg Messe.

Kohlschein, a manufacturer of premium-quality display boards made of renewable paper fibre resources, has said that it will launch two new products at FESPA 2017 next month.

The company, which celebrates this year its 85th anniversary, will showcase both Kroma Outdoor and Studiocard on Stand D36 in Hall B7 of the show.

Kroma Outdoor is a double-sided white display board for temporary outdoor usage, available in thicknesses of 0.9 and 1.1 mm in formats up to 1,400 x 3,000 mm. Kohlschein said that the new product is ideal for outside posters and is a recyclable and eco-friendly alternative to synthetic materials.

Sutdiocard is a double silk coated sulphate cellulose board with identical printing surfaces on both sides. The company said that the brilliant whiteness of the media, its stiffness and the excellent printing and converting characteristics make it suitable for high-class print jobs such as premium packaging, POS/POP display and graphical end use.

Kohlschein will also show off Hylite, a product from 3A Composites which the company said is the world’s thinnest aluminium composite panel.

The ultra light composite panel with foamed core is available in thicknesses up to 4.0 mm.

In a statement, Kohlschein said: “We offer our customers a diversified selection of rigid media and substrates for direct-to-substrate digital printing, screen printing, offset printing, litho lamination, die-cutting, digital cutting, large format imaging, photo mounting and graphic arts.

“Besides our material business, our modern machinery and a flexible work flow enables us to offer various converting services as well as the processing of all kind of paper boards, foamboards and synthetic panels.”
