Pictographics buys Massivit 1800 3D printer

US-based sign and display print company Pictographics has installed a Massivit 1800 3D printer to bolster its reputation for pioneering new technologies.

Massivit 3D Printing Technologies announced that sign and display print business, Pictographics has installed a Massivit 1800 3D Printing Solution to drive sales for new, innovative 3D visual communication projects and set it apart from the competition.

Based in Las Vegas, the family-run, boutique print service provider also expects the latest addition to support growth of its existing 2D sign & display offering. With a long-standing reputation for pioneering new technologies, Pictographics’ production site now includes eight distinct printing technologies plus a varied array of CNC machines. The Massivit 1800 adds a new, creative dimension to this multi-faceted company and its team.

“With a diverse customer-base covering many different market sectors, we often receive requests for custom jobs. As such, we need an array of production equipment at our disposal as well as a team that can think outside of the box when it comes to delivering the end-product,” commented Pictographics CEO and president Craig M. Miller.

The Massivit 1800 applications can also be finished using 2D printing technology and 3D routing, producing yet more revenue back to the company’s core print business.
