Printeriors 2021 Highlights Digital Opportunities and New Technologies for the Interior Décor Indust

The interior decoration industry is set for a new era of creativity utilising digital technologies. It’s a sector that has continued its meteoric growth throughout the pandemic. Driven by consumer demand, supply chain issues which have encouraged nearshoring and the increasing requirement for customisation and reduced stock holdings.

Digital technologies continue to drive market change throughout the printed interior decoration sector and Printeriors showcases their application.

Inspired by the botanical gardens in Madrid, the 2021 Printeriors design collection features flora and fauna. The intricate patterns and details of nature have been captured by the talented photographer and illustrator Jasper Goodall and his creations offer a visual bridge between the world of graphics and the interior décor industry. The stand is designed, sourced and curated by myself, Debbie McKeegan, an award-winning textile designer and digital print pioneer in collaboration with the industries specialist applications teams, digital machine manufacturers and countless material suppliers across Europe.

What are the benefits of Direct-To-Fabric printing?

Direct-to-fabric printing is gaining popularity for high-volume textile production, enabling on-demand, customized short runs. These printers offer ink flexibility, accommodating various fabric types like cotton and silk, though ink development focuses on faster turnaround by reducing pre- and post-processing.
