The landscape of manufacturing has changed forever, consumers now demand incredible speed of delivery and design diversity alongside sustainable manufacturing process. How we manage our production processes must now be realigned. Utilising AI (artificial intelligence), AR (augmented reality), VR (virtual reality) alongside specialist software and automated digital manufacturing equipment is now common practice, in part, if not end-to-end for many businesses.

However, we must remember that we are witnessing a systemic reform of the textile manufacturing supply chain and an age of digital disruption. The products on display in Print Make Wear give an inspiring insight into the production workflow, and offer a window into customised, just-in-time manufacturing.

Welcome to the era of Industry 4.0, where a new generation of technology meets the demands of a new generation of consumers by working together to deliver Millennial Manufacturing.
