Classic Stripes wins Functional Printing 2017 FESPA Gold Award

Classic Stripes, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of automotive graphics, received the gold medal in the Functional Printing category at the 2017 FESPA Awards.

Each year, the FESPA Awards give companies around the world the chance to show off some of their best work to the global industry. With a whole host of categories open to entrants, companies can submit all types of work.

From building wraps and vehicle graphics, through to posters and t-shirts, the FESPA Awards attracts a wide range of entries, helping to showcase the diversity of the industry.

Companies that make the final shortlist, which will be announced in early March, will have their work featured at the main FESPA 2018 event in Berlin, Germany. Winning entries will be invited to a Gala Dinner on Wednesday May 16th, to celebrate their success with excellent food and live entertainment, in what promises to be a positively electric atmosphere.

A regular FESPA Awards winner for its expertise in screen printing, Classic Stripes Private Limited (CSPL),  received the gold medal in the Functional Printing category in the last FESPA Awards, for the sample the company produced an air compressor for Panasonic Econavi.

Established in 1987 in Mumbai, Classic Stripes has a production capacity of over 15 million automotive graphic sets per annum. Today, the company has a significant market share in the Indian automotive OEM printing industry and is a global player with presence in the UK, USA and the Middle East.

It offers premium imaging solutions with diversified printing and has a strong presence in the different verticals. These include OEM graphics for the auto industry; large/small format graphics, dashboard trims and other car accessories for the retail aftermarket; fleet graphics for wrapping corporate fleets; large/small format graphics and domed labels for global markets and polycarbonate fascia for the domestic consumer durables industry.

Organised as part of FESPA's Profit for Purpose programme of events around the globe, the largest international print trade awards seeks to recognise the best printers in different areas of our technically diverse and creative industry.
