FESPA’s largest digital textile event just one week away

FESPA Textile 2016 will open its doors in less than a week as the largest digital textile event to date, occupying two halls at the RAI Exhibition Center.

The sold out event will host over 65 exhibitors demonstrating digital textile print technology for a range of applications such as soft signage, apparel printing, garment decoration and interior décor.

Occupying halls 4 and 5, visitors will be able to explore a multitude of different technologies and product launches from both international and smaller manufacturers showing hardware, consumables, software and more.

Away from these dedicated halls, there will also be exhibitors in the Digital halls showing textile solutions, so visitors will be steered along a bespoke Textile Trail of 141 stands, which include: Durst, EFI, Epson, Elkotb Textiles, Junkers & Mullers GmbH, HP, Mutoh, Sawgrass, Zund and many more.

This will ensure that printers with a particular interest in digital textile will get the most from their visit. To view the full Textile Trail line-up ahead of FESPA Textile visit the Exhibitor page at www.fespatextile.com.

FESPA’s digital textile offering is complemented by a programme of inspirational content from industry experts. The educational line-up includes seminars on the show floor in the Digital Seminars Area, with sessions on direct to garment printing; revolutionising digital textile and dye-sublimation among others.

The Digital Textile Conference, taking place on Tuesday 8 March, will provide delegates with a focused day of discussions including a keynote by international designers Bruno Basso and Christopher Brooke.

Tickets are still available for the Digital Textile Conference and can be purchased here.

Digital textile is growing at a tremendous rate and has also begun to make an impact on the interior décor sector. The Printeriors “Print Hotel”, located in hall 6, is an interactive event highlighting what printed interior décor can offer, represented in the style of a hotel.

This showcase will include a number of printed textile applications such as curtains, cushions and furniture, highlighting to visitors the diversification opportunities available with textile solutions in this sector.

Roz McGuinness, FESPA Divisional Director, comments: "The commitment we’ve received for FESPA Textile 2016 from exhibitors is proof of how much this sector is growing."

"The overall combination of breadth of international exhibitors, product launches, the textile trail, seminar sessions, the Digital Textile Conference and also our Printeriors showcase means that FESPA Textile has a compelling offering for visitors interested in this rapidly evolving sector."
